A month has past since our last tour of the vegetable garden, so we thought you might like an update.
Like the rest of northern Europe, July has been a pretty rainy month. Vegetables are growing slower than expected, but we're hoping to make a good harvest before the first frost. The temperatures at night have often been below 10°C, which didn't help balancing the amount of rain we've had.
Never-the-less, here's the veggie patch as it is, with beautiful cabbages, fruits and herbs. The potatoes are blooming, blackberry bushes are taller than they've ever been, pumpkins are finally growing female flowers and we've picked our first courgette today. All in all, things are good.
How are your garden and or vegetables doing? Did you recognize the purple flower in the video? Comment below and we'll answer you ;)
Until next time, cheers!
Louise
